I recommend any person rather female or male watch this movie.
I just finished watching this movie about 10mins ago on lifetime.
This movie was basically about how this guy and girl were dating, and he had control issues over her. It took the girl some time to come to realization that him hitting her was not ok, she kept blaming herself, and making excuses for him.
Her cousin was the first to see the abuse, but didn't say anything only because she asked her not to say anything at all, which later the cousin did tell her own mom and then the aunt. The boy was really controlling he showed up at a concert with a gun saying "This is the only way we can be together". I'm glad that he didn't kill her and that her cousin didn't leave her alone with him. Abuse is never ok, if you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship tell someone.....You can catch this movie on youtube, or just type in "Reviving Ophelia", and watch the movie or go to the library and read the book, I highly recommend it!.
